If you ask me, the best thing about Super Bowl Sunday is….you guessed it…THE FOOOD! And the commercials. I’m sorry, I ‘m just not a football fanatic. I know my daddy would love for me to be one, but it just hasn’t happened yet. The hubs and I love hockey. GO RANGERS!
Here are some of our favorite game day recipes for treats and libations, some from me and a few from some of our favorite blogs, The Pioneer Woman, Foodie With Family, Damn Delicious, and Two Peas and Their Pod.
We are definitely going to make a whole bunch of these this year! I only wish I could have em all. MMMMMMMMMMM
Here are the Munchies:
These Bacon BBQ Meatballs are ridiculously easy and so delicious. You can also make them ahead of time! Just freeze and then throw in the sauce!
If you are looking to feed a hoard of hungry fanatics, this Chili will do the trick! It’s hearty and is delicious with some shredded cheddar, scallions, and sour cream. It’s easy to throw together the day of, or you can make ahead, freeze, and reheat in time for the game!
These Baked Cheesy Chicken and Bean Taquitos from Foodie With Family are supreme! Can we consider them healthy too, cuz they’re baked???
Salsa Baby! So delicious and quick! Perfect for dippin’ taquitos!
Here are The Pioneer Woman’s Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeno Thingies. They are friggin’ ridiculously good. However, on her recipe online she does not include the shredded cheddar and chopped scallions that she does in her cookbook. You want the shredded cheddar and chopped scallions, they make it amazing. Just add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar and 1/4 cup chopped scallions!
Pepperoni Stromboli and Nana’s Sausage Bread are also super quick to throw together, and it is always a crowd pleaser. You can also make them ahead and reheat them in the oven! Make it football shaped for fun, or just slice it up and put it on a pretty platter!
Wings from Damn Delicious! No football celebration is complete without wings!
Here’s my Blue Cheese Recipe to go with all your wing creations!
Cheesy Ham and Cheese Croquettes. Poppin’, Crunchin’ good!
Homemade Pretzel Bites from Two Peas and Their Pod are crazy good! These will be gone quickly!
Here are the Drinkies!

Fresh Fruit Frozen Margaritas. Yes, Please!
